In this photo is a better version of the newspaper copy of the Sabillasville School Class of 1930-31 the kids are standing in front of the Sabillasville School, this building is still in use as a church. Many of the names will stand out, the one that got my attention is James Black. Jim was from Sabillasville and moved his family to Thurmont in the late 1950's. He owned the Thurmont Upholstering Shop and served as Mayor of Thurmont. Thanks to Jim's wife Emmas Larue Black and his daughters Bonnie Black Albaugh and Susan Hatter for confirming that is Jim standing at the right just behind the two kids at the right in the first row.
