Everyone knows this house at 19 East Main Street! When this postcard was printed it was the home of Martin Luther Creager and his family. On the porch next to the door is a sign that reads M. L. Creager Funeral Director. ML also owned the store next door where he sold furniture and maintained his undertaking rooms. ML's son Raymond would eventually take over the family business and move the Funeral Home to the Rouzer house across the street were Stauffer's currently has a funeral home. The house is basically unchanged today, with Hobbs Hardware in next door to the left and Timeless Trends now occupies the Creager Furniture building at the right. There is a two-story carriage house at the back and on the postcard, it says that Dan Rouzer lived there.
