Uniformed soldiers line up in the Memorial Park on Thurmont's East Main Street during a parade on East Main Street. In the background you can see the Trolley Station and the electric substation building. A trolley car sits along side the trolley station.

The small house to the left of the Trolley Station, the trolley station and the brick house to the right of the electric substation are gone now. The small house was removed to make room for the GHC carnival grounds driveway. The Trolley Station was demolished in 1968 and the brick house was removed and replaced with a small shopping strip.
