Back Row L-R George Eby, Maurice Clark and unknown. Camp Baker is located at Bradock Heights along Ridge Road and is still in use as a Scout Camp.

The adult male in the left is Joe Curfmam he started the scouts in Thurmont. He also was a teacher at Thurmont school. He was deferred from WWII because he was going to school and was sole supportor of his mother. When he finished school he then went into the military and had a long military career.  Before he left he took Miss Crawford's paddle, Oscar and cut it up, it was always a secret who had cut up Oscar.
