Many of the names on this photo stood out, the one that got my attention is James Black. Jim was from Sabillasville and moved his family to Thurmont in the late 1950's. He owned the Thurmont Upholstering Shop and served as Mayor of Thurmont. Thanks to his wife Ema Larue Black and daughters Bonnie Black Albaugh and Susan Hatter for confirming that this is Jim with the big grin standing at the right just behind the two kids at the right in the first row.
