Many of us remember Hershey's 5 & 10 Cent Store on Water Street in Thurmont. My memories are not only of the appearance of the store but also the creaky floors and the old smell. Here are several views that were taken on Saturday, December 4, 1948. We shopped here often when I was a little kid, and I remember the toys and candy. This is one of the display windows on Water Street.
