A letter dated February 18, 1921 from Emory Coblentz, President of the H&F RR to H&F RR Superintendent R. Paul Smith. The letter asks Mr. Smith to look into the H&F RR obligations to the City of Frederick for helping to repair roads. In later years R. Paul Smith would serve as President of the H&F RR, a position he held when the last trolley ran from Thurmont to Frederick.
