This color slide was taken in August 1953 at Thurmont's Hagerstown & Frederick Railway Trolley Station.  H&F RR Combine No 172 sits on the side of the station waiting for passengers to get aboard. The pole is up at the rear indicating that the car is headed to the Western Maryland Station next. I don't know who took this photo but a note on the slde says his mother is standing at the left.
