April 16, 1952 and H&F RR Motor Freight No 5 sits on the Boundary Avenue siding as a Western Maryland train steams East. To the left is the WMRR Station, in the foreground is the Carroll Street crossing and Boundary Avenue runs down the right side of the tracks. One of Beall's Freight trailers can be seen at the right next to the red shed and to its left you can be see the white Cannon Shoe Company building through the trees behind the Thurmont Mill.
