H&F RR Car No 172 approaches the WMRR siding in 1949. This intersection was pretty busy with the WMRR, H&F RR, Carroll Street and Boundary Avenue all meeting at one location. At the right side of the Stocksdale Store House can be seen a gondola dropping coal at John Creagers coal bunker under the siding. One of the cars on the WMRR trian appears to be full of scrap iron, many loads of scrap iron were delivered to Frederick by the H&F RR. The houses at both corners of Carrioll Street still look much the same as they do here.
