A Potomac Edison Station Wagon dropping off riders at the intersection of Rte 17 (Main Street) and Wolfsville Road in Myersville, 1947. The driver seems to be wearing a hat with an H&F RR badge. The Trolley Station would have been very near this intersection. The road signs are pointing North toward Ellerton, Middlepoint which is now no more that a few houses and a garage and Wolfville (Wolfsvile). I assume that this station wagon was a part of the P&E / H&F RR system and was used to transport riders to and from stations. P&E started operating their bus line several years before they began closing the H&F lines. There are photos of the H&F trolleys with buses in the background. If any one has any additional information, let me know so I can include it here.
