Looking out the front window of H&F RR Motor Freight No.1 as a string of cars passes by on the main line next to the Thurmont Trolley Station on August 2, 1947.  No. 1 is waiting on the siding behind the H&F RR Trolley Station before heading to Frederick. Having just crossed East Main Street, Car No. 141 and Motor Freight No. 5 are moving several cars including a gondola and a box car. The Thurmont Trolley Station can be seen at the left of the photo. Check out the snazzy shoes the motorman is wearing!
