H&F RR Electric Locomotive No 12 at a lumber yard in Frederick City. No 12 was a 50 Ton Switcher built by General Electric in 1910 and acquired by the H&F in 1947. No 12 was originally built as No. 452 for the Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee and was diverted to the Watervliet Arsenal as USA No. E-2 before beng acquired by the the H&F in 1947. This steel 50 Ton Switcher was built by GE (#6238) and was 37'4" long with Alco RM 63B trucks featuring four GE 257A motors and MC90A Controls.
