It looks like H&F RR Freight Motor No 5 is approaching Braddock Heights after climbing up from Middletown alongside the National Highway. This photo was taken on Augusst 24, 1941 during a Rail Fan trip. Note the number of men in the looking out of the far side of the car at the panaramic view across the Middletown Valley. Normally a motor freight would have at most two crewmen, Rail Fan trips meant that No. 5  would be carrying several passengers for a change.
