Here's a neat postcard advertising the Great Frederick Fair for Oct. 20-23, 1908. The card features a three-panel face showing Admiral Winfield Scott Schley, his Flag Ship "Brooklyn" and his family home Richfield in Frederick. The back of the card has an advertisement for the Fair and a space for an address. This postcard is unused and I imagine these may have been sent by the Fair Board to advertise the fair or to encourage displays. The card remains in excellent condition considering it is almost 110 years old.
