A Joe Durick post card view of black smith Tex Freeze at Catoctin Mountain Park. The mountain crafts and folk culture displays have been closed for many years and would be very popular if they were reopened.  The smithie working some iron at the forge at Round Meadow is Tex Freeze of Thurmont, I remember Tex riding his horse around town.
