The Mackley Brothers had several stores on East Main Street in Thurmont and one of the buildings had their name on it until the mid-1950's. These photos are of their building at 5A and 5B East Main Street. There is no date on this photo but a good guess would be between 1900 and 1910. This may be a Charlie R. R. Beck photo, he was a local photographer that worked during those years and his photography shop was just across the street from this building.
