Potomac Edison owned the H&FRR as well as the Blue Ridge Line, the bus line being established in 1923. The buses provided service along all the routes previously operated by the H&F and eventually spread across the Mid-Atlantic region. The Blue Ridge Line ran for many years after the trolley system ceased to operate.
