Western Maryland Engine # 207 pulling into the Thurmont Station in June 1947.  At the right of the engine you can see several men with cameras, these are most likely rail fan riders.  Rail Fan clubs would rent H&F trolley cars and meet the Western Maryland to take photos of the soon to be retired steam engines. The Western Maryland Station was a polular location for rail fans because of the intersection between the WMRR and H&FRR, steam and trolley's at one location!
